Respect the people
Disagree with ideas without attacking people. Harassment, threats, hate, stalking and sharing someone’s private information have no place here. Respect boundaries and stop when someone asks you to.
Credit the artists. Ask before sharing.
Only upload photos, flyers, artwork and music you have permission to share. Credit creators and link to original sources. Ask before sharing someone’s photo, especially a moment they may not want made public. Add a useful photo description so people using screen readers can understand it too.
One event, one conversation
Publish an event once, with its real date, city and venue or address. Do not repost it every day, create duplicate accounts, buy votes or flood the calendar. Disclose your connection if you are promoting it. Share changes in the existing conversation and contact us if the listing needs correction or cancellation.
Find the right conversation
Use Events for dated listings and Festivals for festival conversations, memories and questions. Pick the closest topic and check for an existing discussion before starting another. Vancouver is our starting point; music and community connections can reach much further.
Keep it safe and honest
No scams, deceptive ticket offers, malware, illegal sales or instructions intended to harm others. Do not post sexual exploitation, non-consensual intimate material or graphic abuse. Verify ticket sellers and organizers before sending money or personal details. loungeX support is not an emergency service.
When something is wrong
Use Contact us to report a concern. Include the post or profile link and a short explanation; do not repost harmful material. We may remove material or restrict accounts, and you can contact us to ask for a decision to be reviewed.
